Victor Cruz recounts season-changing 99-yard TD play

There are reminders of Victor Cruz, the resident Jet killer, sprinkled around the Giants’ practice facility that stands across the Meadowlands parking lot from where the Giants and Jets will meet on Sunday afternoon. His No. 80 is visible in a team photo from the Super Bowl XLVI run along one hallway wall, and his stall remains occupied in the locker room. On the top shelf of his packed locker are shoulder pads, receiver gloves and a fireman’s helmet painted blue with a red streak down the middle. There is an open box of Aleve lying around, a reminder of the knee and calf injuries that curtailed his comeback season.
