The New York Giants have announced their first move of 2018 NFL free agency, re-signing veteran offensive guard John Greco.
A 10-year veteran, Greco was signed in mid-November to provide depth after injuries struck the Giants’ offensive line. He played sparingly, appearing in six games and being involved in 105 offensive snaps.
Greco played for Giants coach Pat Shurmur when he was offensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams and again when Shurmur was head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Greco also played for Giants offensive line coach Hal Hunter with the Browns in 2016.
