The Giants have come a long way in the two weeks since they threw away their first two games, and getting back to .500 was a significant step. It's far from the last step, though, especially for a team that hasn't been over .500 since last October and hasn't been two games over .500 since 2012.
The good news, though, is the Giants' schedule is set up perfectly for them to get on the kind of run they haven't been on since early in that 2012 season. Their next five games are against teams that are either falling apart or haven't yet come together.
