EAST RUTHERFORD — Giants players were in a difficult position after Josh Brown's history of domestic violence came to light. While repulsed by Brown's reported actions, many players reflexively supported their teammate.
Quarterback Eli Manning found himself in that position. Outspoken against domestic violence, Manning resisted criticizing Brown, who was released by the Giants last Tuesday.
"I'm not in a position to judge a person," Manning said in his first interview since Brown was cut. "There's an understanding what's right and wrong and how to conduct yourself and how to treat women and children and people.
