TRIPS formation explained

‘Trips formation’ is any offensive formation where three eligible receivers align on the same side of the field outside of the offensive tackle. It can be run from multiple personnel groups. At least two receiving options must align off the line of scrimmage to ensure that all three receivers are eligible.
