Tony Dungy: Giants 'dysfunctional' and 'look like they quit'

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- When you lose by 34 points at home coming off the bye week, everything is in question -- especially the team's effort level.

Former NFL coach and current NBC analyst Tony Dungy is among those who didn’t like what he saw from the New York Giants in Sunday’s 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium.

“They did look like they quit,” Dungy said. “But they’ve been dysfunctional the whole way through -- players getting suspended, not being able to play, punts blocked, breakdowns, a lack of hustle … this was embarrassing [on Sunday].
