The legend of the Passing Paisano continues. New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito has earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping the Giants defeat the red-hot Green Bay Packers, 24-22.
DeVito was an efficient 17-of-21 (81%), including 10-of-11 in the second half, for 158 yards and a touchdown. He led a game-winning drive that consisted of a 32-yard strike to Wan’Dale Robinson with under a minute to go in the game. DeVito added 71 yards on the ground with 10 carries, and his 26-yard run set up Saquon Barkley’s second short-yardage touchdown at the one-yard line.
