Tom Coughlin wants his players to slow down. At least when they get close to him.
After getting leveled by a sideline hit from Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on Monday night, Coughlin discussed it at length in a Giants.com interview posted on Friday morning.
“I’m five yards off the field for God’s sake,” he said. “Here come the three guys at me and you know there’s no place to go. It’s one of those things that hits you, ‘Oh my goodness, here we go again.’”
It was, Coughlin said, the third time he’s been decked like that.
