Twelve seasons and two Super Bowl titles later, the Tom Coughlin Era is over for the Giants.
On Monday, one day after wrapping up a 6-10 campaign, the head coach who made a career out of restoring “Giants Pride” stepped down, meeting with team owners John Mara and Steve Tisch to announce his resignation.

“I informed them that it is in the best interest of the organization that I step down as head coach,” Coughlin said in a statement.
