The thing many Giants remember most about their visit to Bryant College for joint practices with the Patriots in August 2001 was how excited the New England fan base was for their young quarterback. Every time he stepped onto the field or threw a pass the crowd that had gathered to watch those preseason workouts roared with anticipation and approval.
