I know fans don't generally care much about players' interaction with the media, but it's worth making an exception when Jason Pierre-Paul speaks publicly for the first time. He's expected to do that Friday in the New York Giants' locker room, and assuming things go according to schedule, it will be the first time we've heard Pierre-Paul's voice since last December, let alone since the July 4 fireworks accident that cost him his right index finger.
Pierre-Paul has always been an interesting guy to cover, mainly because of his boisterous personality. He'd make cracks about not wanting to talk to us, but he'd end up making the time and usually talking longer than you'd expect a guy to talk after saying he didn't want to.
