EAST RUTHERFORD -- Like many of his teammates, Robbie Gould found out the Giants were going to the playoffs while heading home for Christmas.
"I had just landed in Chicago, and was watching on my phone as I drove to the house. It was pretty exciting news," Gould said, recalling how he found out the Saints had defeated the Buccaneers on Saturday, clinching the Giants a wild card spot. "It's great, because this team hasn't been here in five years."
Gould hasn't been there in six years.
