It wasn’t exactly Jim Fassel pushing all his cards to the middle of the table, but Ben McAdoo is predicting an imminent eruption from the Giants’ offense.
“I think we’re ready to break out,” McAdoo said Wednesday. “In every way, shape and form, we’re ready to break out. We’re due.”
McAdoo said he thinks that because his 2-2 team represents quite the statistical oddity through four games: The Giants’ offense ranks sixth in total yards but a dismal 27th in scoring at just 18.3 points a game after Monday night’s 24-10 road loss to the Vikings.
Asked why he expects a scoring rebound perhaps as soon as Sunday in Green Bay against the Packers, McAdoo said: “I have a lot of confidence in the group.
