The Bill Parcells coaching tree has produced seven Super Bowl championships, and Bill Belichick is 60 minutes from winning his fifth and making it eight.
“He’s been tremendously successful … what he’s done is remarkable,” Parcells told The Post this week. “I’m happy for him.”
Parcells won his two Super Bowls with the Giants with Belichick as his defensive coordinator. He was asked to sum up why Belichick has been so successful in New England.
“Hard work,” Parcells said. “He’s surrounded himself with good people. That’s the key to it.”
