This offseason has introduced a new hypothetical for the New York Giants. Quarterback Eli Manning is now 38-years old. Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson wants a new long-term deal that he may or may not get. Considering both truths (with the Giants in need of a long-term plan at quarterback), Seattle trading Wilson to New York could be a possibility.
Giants head coach Pat Shurmur confirmed in February that Manning would be back for 2019. The Giants also paid Manning his $5 million roster bonus in March. This essentially confirms he’ll be on the roster for the 2019 season.
