Prior to the team practicing on Monday morning, the New York Giants voted seven players to be their team captains for the 2019 season.
Head coach Pat Shurmur spoke about what went into naming the team captains.
“The players voted on who they want to be their captains, and I am in total agreement with them. They chose wisely. This is our official leadership, but there are many players on the team who have shown the ability to lead in their own way.”
