Last season, the New York Giants put together one of the league’s best secondaries, a secondary that hid the flaws of a below average group of linebackers and a pass rush that didn’t live up to expectation.
Between linebackers Keenan Robinson, Jonathan Casillas, Kelvin Sheppard and Devon Kennard, the four had an average Pro Football Focus grade slightly below 56 last season.
And when it came to their pass rush, New York’s pressure percentage was 28th in the league and their quick pressure rate was 29th in the league in 2016, according to Pro Football Focus,
The Giants also allowed opposing quarterbacks more time in the pocket before pressure than any other team (2.
