When the New York Giants drafted George Asafo-Adjei, they probably didn’t even realize just how big he was. The seventh-round doesn’t often present much starting-caliber talent, but every now and then a quality player slips through the cracks.
Asafo-Adjei, a 6’5″, 305-pound offensive tackle joined Big Blue after a four-year career at Kentucky. The right tackle was not only the team captain but earned several accolades portraying his work ethic and effectiveness on the field. He was two-time SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week, starting in 12 games last season.
