Jason Pierre Paul is not the same player he was in 2011. He is not the same player he was when the Giants went on their Super Bowl run. He doesn’t have to be. Pierre Paul has to be the guy he was last year. More specifically he has to be the guy he was in the second half. Pierre Paul had 12.5 sacks last year.
He was not as dominant as he was in 2011 however he had an excellent second half. Pierre Paul was the Giants pass rush last year. He hasn’t played this year and the Giants pass rush has been nowhere to be found.
