John Mara should at least know now how many fingers Jason Pierre-Paul has.
The Giants have gotten in touch with the star defensive end for the first time since the July 4 accident that left him without a right index finger.
On WFAN on Monday morning, general manager Jerry Reese said he talked with Pierre-Paul on Sunday, ending a nearly month-long silence between the two sides. Additionally, he mentioned JPP had spoken with Ronnie Barnes, the Giants senior vice president of medical services.
“It was a personal conversation, and I want to keep it private between him and I,” Reese said on “Boomer and Carton,” via NJ.
