If you read mock drafts at all, it shouldn’t take long before you see some trends emerge. One of the strongest is the New York Giants being projected to select a wide receiver at eleventh overall. The exact receiver selected changes depending on the drafter and how the first ten picks fall, but a top pass catcher to the Giants is almost a given.
And it really makes sense given how the Giants’ offense has played recently. Their lack of a true “number one” receiver who can man the X position and draw double teams has held the offense back and limited the receivers they do have.
