Kafka was widely considered a rising star in the coaching ranks after the Giants’ surprising playoff appearance a year ago, having gotten head coaching interviews with four different franchises in the last hiring cycle.
The Giants fielded one of the worst offenses in the NFL in 2023, finishing 30th in points scored and 29th in yards gained.
