Something good
The first-team defense forced a pair of turnovers against the scout-team offense, with LB Ryan Connelly and nickel CB Grant Haley recording interceptions. The drills weren’t quite full speed but catching them securely is never a bad thing.
Something bad
For the first time in camp, tempers flared briefly during team drills. LB Lorenzo Carter and OG Nick Gates got tangled in a mini dust-up with some shoving after Carter rushed the pocket. Players crowded around them and the situation quickly fizzled.
