EAST RUTHERFORD -- It's not easy to remove the smile from the face of Giants tight end coach Kevin Gilbride these days.
That's what happens when your team invests a first-round pick and significant cap space in free agency at your position. The Giants took Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram with the 23rd pick in the draft after signing Vikings free agent Rhett Ellison to a four-year, $18 million contract in March.
"Just excitement for the fact that we're adding better players to our room and to our team because I think it allows us to be more versatile on offense," Gilbride said.
