With the final selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Georgia linebacker Tae Crowder and of course with that pick he became “Mr Irrelevant.”
Despite being the last pick, Crowder had a good rookie season and helped the Giants in many ways on defense with numerous players going down with injuries. Now heading into his second season he’s using his nickname as motivation.
“It was really funny because Mr. Irrelevant was actually a thing,” Crowder said in an ESPN interview. “And this is how my whole process has been — just being an underdog and all that and having to overcome a lot of obstacles and get where I wanted to be.
