How bad has the Giants' run game been? Everyone is blown away by rookie Wayne Gallman, who averaged 3.8 yards per carry in his career debut. That's not meant to take anything away from Gallman, who ran hard and looked much better than starter Paul Perkins. Gallman also had two catches for eight yards, including a four-yard go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Gallman was a healthy scratch for the first three games, but he earned a role going forward. Meanwhile, Perkins had nine carries for 14 yards before leaving with a ribs injury. It's time to make a change in the backfield.
