It's sad that the season has reached this point, but Giants are players are now earning praise simply for acting like they care. Shepard led the effort on Sunday, as he did everything he could to lead the offense. The second-year receiver set career highs with 11 catches for 142 yards. The highlight was a spectacular one-handed diving catch in the third quarter.
Rookie Evan Engram has been the brightest spot during this dark season. The first-round pick's development continued on Sunday with six catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Engram has 21 catches for 243 yards and four touchdowns in the four games since the wide receiver corps was decimated by injuries in Week 5.
