Will Tye flashed open three plays into the Giants' game-opening touchdown drive Monday night in Philadelphia. The rookie tight end from Stony Brook took Eli Manning's short pass on a big 17-yard ride, then was open over the middle two plays later for 5 more yards.
The week before that, Tye played Sunday night at MetLife Stadium against San Francisco and grabbed four passes for 48 yards.
Against Buffalo a week earlier, he dropped the only pass thrown to him but became the first Stony Brook alum to compete in an NFL game.
He's loving every second of the ride with a team that's 3-3 headed into Sunday's home date with Dallas.
