Steelers hire former Giants’ assistant coach

It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be coached by someone that coached former New York Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning for most of his NFL career.

Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network is reporting that former Giants’ quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan has been hired by the Steelers to become their new quarterbacks coach.

Of course there is also the chance that Sullivan won’t be coaching Big Ben because the Steelers have made it clear that they can’t afford to have him play for them in 2021 under his current salary.

Sullivan served as the Giants’ wide receivers coach and quarterbacks coach from 2004-11 and then 2015-17 and of course helped them win two Super Bowls while in New York.
