The former two-time Super Bowl winning Giants head coach’s agent told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that:
“The only thing I would say is that there is plenty of football left in Tom Coughlin.”
Previously, it was reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that Coughlin would retire at the end of the season, but it seems he will not. Moreover, it seems that it is likely he will pursue another job somewhere in some capacity after his firing.
Whether a team believes that the 73-year-old has the stamina to handle a head coaching or major executive job is another story, much less the Giants considering the direction the team is going in right now.
