After further review, Markus Golden is about to get some extra cash.
The Giants linebacker was on the right side of a stat correction made this week, upping his season sack total to 10 and earning him a $1 million bonus.
Golden had initially been credited with a half-sack of Dwayne Haskins in the third quarter of the Big Blue win over the Redskins on Sunday, and that was officially upped to a full one on Tuesday.
“I earned it,” Golden said.
The double-digit sack total also makes the pending free agent the first Giant to hit the mark since Lawrence Taylor in 1990.
