Sources: Giants acquire Darren Waller in trade with Raiders

The New York Giants are acquiring former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Giants will send a third-round draft pick (No. 100 overall) to the Raiders for Waller, who will become the most established receiving target for quarterback Daniel Jones.

Waller, 30, had back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 receiving yards in 2019 and 2020 but has been plagued by multiple injuries over the past two seasons, appearing in just 20 total games over that span.
