EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley is expected to be activated off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and return to practice this week for the first time since tearing his knee early last season, a source told ESPN.
The New York Post was first to report the news of his return.
Barkley could be activated and on the field practicing with his teammates in a limited capacity as early as Monday. The Giants practice later this afternoon following an off day on Sunday.
