Source: Giants will take second look at Jason Pierre-Paul's injuries on Tuesday

Jason Pierre-Paul will give it another shot with the Giants' front office and medical staff.

Fox Sports reported Sunday that the defensive end will visit with the team on Tuesday to re-evaluate the extent of his hand injuries. A source confirmed that plan.

Pierre-Paul had his right index finger amputated and sustained damage to his thumb and middle finger in a fireworks accident on July 4. He first visited the Giants in early September but was sent home to Florida when the team determined he was not ready to play.

This will be the last chance for the Giants to visit with Pierre-Paul, according to league rules that limit in-person meetings with free agents to two.
