Panthers cornerback Josh Norman had a really bad game during this past Sunday’s loss to the Falcons, which was Carolina’s first of the season.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera seems to believe that their game against the New York Giants and Odell Beckham Jr. may have affected Norman in a negative way after Julio Jones went off in week 16.
“Sometimes there may be a little carry over, but we brought it on ourselves — that’s the truth,” Rivera told reporters Monday, via NFL.com. “If you really wanna look at it, pregame you looked at it: the referees were all lined up at the 50-yard line straight across.
