Should the Giants trade for Brandin Cooks

It’s really confusing how wide receiver Brandin Cooks continues to get passed around from team to team while continuing to post 1,000 yard seasons at the receiver position. The guy is a playmaker that produces on a consistent basis.

Cooks’ stats are staggering. He caught 81 passes for 1,150 yards and six touchdowns in 2020. The only seasons that he didn’t record over 1,000 yards were his rookie year in 2014 and in 2019 with the Los Angeles Rams who spread the ball around to about five different receivers.

Cooks still has three years left on his current contract with the Houston Texans and is making just over $12 million per season.
