In early March I asked whether or not the New York Giants should consider signing free agent edge rusher Olivier Vernon.
Of course Vernon played for the Giants from 2016-18. Then he was traded to the Cleveland Browns along with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in exchange for Jabrill Peppers, Kevin Zeitler and a first round pick.
Now the 30 year-old Vernon is a free agent, but is also recovering from a torn Achilles. Even so, Alex Kay of Bleacher Report believes the Giants should sign him.
The Giants have had a quality offseason, picking up receiver Kenny Golladay and corner Adoree’ Jackson and re-signing Leonard Williams to address some of their most glaring holes.
