News came out on Tuesday after Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network broke the news on Twitter that the Miami Dolphins are releasing starting linebacker Kyle Van Noy after just one season with the team.
This is a bit of a surprise with the Dolphins handing Van Noy a four-year, $51 million contract with $31 million guaranteed just last March. Now on the flipside, after a rough financial year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the salary cap will not get the typical boost that it normally does, so there will be a lot of veteran players that will be released unexpectedly within the next few months.
