Give Shaun O’Hara this: He doesn’t pretend his words were “taken out of context” and he’s not sorry if he caused others to take offense. He meant it.
Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh said he texted Thursday night with O’Hara after the Super Bowl-winning center shredded this year’s unit for its lack of toughness in missing practice days.
O’Hara wanted to alert Pugh — one of the few projected starters who was active during this week’s practices — to his criticism, but didn’t back down an inch.
“He didn’t apologize, I think what he said, he stood by it,” Pugh said.
