When it comes to discussing the Giants, there is a rule about as hard and fast as any in the NFL. It is this: If you have to go back to the 1970s to make a comparison, it’s not good.
That’s the case with the current state of the Giants offense. In the past two games, both at home, both with a chance to keep or regain their top spot in the NFC East standings, they have scored a total of 13 points.
