MOBILE, Ala. — The majority of the players considered to be the big-name pass-rush talent this year are underclassmen and thus cannot attend. The top quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft, Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State, is a redshirt sophomore and is not invited.
So, this week’s Senior Bowl practices will not include the star-power the Giants hope to attain with the No. 6 pick in the draft, but there will be plenty of talent on the field for them to consider with some of the other 10 picks they own.
The Senior Bowl practices will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at quaint Ladd-Peebles Stadium, with fans allowed to watch and scouts, coaches and front office executives sitting on the concrete stands, in the cold and dampness, along with everyone else.
