ATLANTA — Saquon Barkley was not pleased with his performance Monday night as the Giants lost again, this time to the Falcons 23-20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
“Personally I didn’t play a good game,’’ Barkley said afterward, looking dead serious. “The first half, the second half I wasn’t the player I usually am. I got to continue to grow there, get back to the drawing board.’’
Barkley had a rough time finding any room to run, finishing with only 43 rushing yards on 14 attempts. He had a dismal 7 yards on eight carries in the first half.
