The New York Giants, down to starting undrafted free agent Andrew Adams in just his second NFL game this Monday against the Minnesota Vikings, will reportedly work out former Pro Bowl safety Donte Whitner on Sunday.
The Giants have lost Mykkele Thompson to a season-ending knee injury. Darian Thompson (foot) will miss a second straight game Monday, and Nat Berhe (concussion) almost certainly won’t play.
A 10-year veteran, the 30-year-old Whitner spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
