After four up-and-down seasons marked by solid production and big plays, but also critical in-game flubs and two disciplinary benchings, the Giants gave up on wide receiver Rueben Randle this offseason.
They made no effort to resign their 2012 second-round pick when he hit free agency, letting him head to Philadelphia and sign with the Eagles.
Randle was a productive player on the whole for the Giants, but his inconsistency, and the perceptions he often ran incorrect routes/gave up on passes and was not as invested in his craft as he should be, ultimately won out in the organization's mind.
