The New York Giants have made a pair of Monday morning roster moves by re-signing wide receiver Bennie Fowler and waiving linebacker and special teams player Nate Stupar.
Fowler was recently waived as the Giants needed to make a roster move for the return of WR Golden Tate. Fowler’s return to the Giants’ roster is likely related to the injury to Sterling Shepard. The Giants’ top receiver could be out for a while after suffering his second concussion in a month. It only makes sense to bring back a player who is very familiar with both the scheme and Daniel Jones, and was starting for the team at the beginning of the season.
