The New York Giants made a series of roster moves Saturday for their season finale on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Giants placed starting safety Jason Pinnock, who had previously been ruled out of the game with a toe injury suffered last week against the Los Angeles Rams, on injured reserve.
That move left the Giants with two open roster spots after Tyre Phillips, who tore a quad tendon last week, was placed on injured reserve.
To fill those openings, the Giants signed quarterback Jacob Eason and tight end Tyree Jackson from their practice squad to the 53-man roster.
