The New York Giants on Saturday elevated two players who are primarily special teamers from their practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Carter Coughlin, who was released on Thursday and then re-signed to the practice squad on Friday, has been elevated. Coughlin, a linebacker, is in his fifth season with the Giants.
Ty Summers, also listed as a linebacker, was the other player elevated. Like Coughlin, Summers is really a special teamer and emergency linebacker.
