The New York Giants have been very active in the cornerback market during training camp, as they’ve added three to the active roster since camp opened up.
Christian Holmes becomes the latest addition to the secondary, as it was announced that the Giants claimed him off waivers from the Washington Commanders.
A seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Holmes appeared in 30 games for the Commanders, mainly in a special teams role. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder recorded 20 tackles (11 solo), one pass breakup, and two fumble recoveries during his time in Washington.
