The New York Giants have made their move to re-sign veteran running back Alfred Morris official.
The team announced Monday morning that they signed Morris, bolstering their backfield. The Giants originally added Morris to their practice squad in late September of 2020, shortly after Saquon Barkley’s ACL injury and an ankle injury to Devonta Freeman. Morris bounced between the Giants’ active roster and practice squad throughout the year, frequently backing up Wayne Gallman Jr.
