The New York Giants are waiving rookie running back Dante Miller.
Miller has had a difficult road to the NFL, marked by transfer and issues regarding the NCAA’s eligibility rules. He got his start at Columbia, earning All-Ivy League and team MVP honors in 2021. He then transferred to South Carolina in 2022 in the hopes of proving himself against a higher level of competition. Unfortunately, he ran into problems regarding the NCAA’s arcane eligibility rules and was limited to just six carries in six games in 2022 for South Carolina and was unable to play in 2023.
